CRANBERRY TARTS

SANTA TOLD ME HE LOVES THESE WITH.... A GLASS OF COLD MILK ON CHRISTMAS EVE

  • 10 pre-baked 4" tart shells

  • 1/2-cup butter

  • 3/4-pound cranberries

  • 1/2-cup apple, unpeeled, cored, and grated

  • 1/4-cup honey

  • 1-teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/4-cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped

  • 1-tablespoon brandy

Sauté all ingredients quickly in butter until the cranberries are tender and have popped. Puree in food processor or blender until chunky smooth. Fill 10-4" pre-baked tart shells. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until bubbly, but not brown. Dust with powdered sugar forced through a sieve and then once again when chilled.
