BANANA CHOCOLATE CHIP CAKE |

| In a bowl, cream together butter, shortening, sugar, vanilla, and eggs; add smashed, but not too smooth bananas. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, soda and salt. Blend these two together gradually. Stir in chips and nuts. Pour batter into a buttered and floured 8 x 8 cake pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until knife Inserted in the middle comes out clean. Serve hot or at room temperature the next day. Serves nine portions. |
