MIXED FRUIT SOUP |

Mix together in a saucepan: fruit, water, sugar, lemon, and cinnamon stick. Cover and cook until fruit is tender. Discard lemon and cinnamon. Force fruit mixture through a sieve to remove any seeds. Add syrup, Juices, port, and more sugar if desired. Serve chilled with a spoonful of sour cream, yogurt, or whipped cream and top with fresh mint leaves. Serve in 6-8 chilled wine glasses. |
