DUCK AND DECANTER CHEESE SPREAD

 Believe it or not, we are going to share this recipe with you. If recipes wrinkled with age, this one would have its share; it is as good as it is old.

  • 3 pounds commercial Cheddar cheese spread, room temperature

  • 1-pound cream cheese, room temperature

  • 1/4-pound Blue cheese, room temperature

  • 1-ounce brandy

  • 2 ounces dry red wine

  • Dash Pickapeppa Sauce

Thoroughly mix all the ingredients in large bowl. Best served at room temperature after chilling overnight. Makes about 4 pints.

Packaged in crocks this cheese spread is attractive for table use or makes a lovely gift.
